The role of legendary Australian automotive industry figure Michael Tynan, in rolling out the new AADA cannot be underestimated.
Indeed, it was Michael who started the process back in 2010 by conducting a comprehensive Dealer survey; the results of which suggested that the national structure at the time was inappropriate to satisfy Dealer needs.
For this great contribution, along with a lifetime of hard-work and involvement with the automotive industry, the AADA honoured Mr Tynan at a recent event.
At a dinner organised prior to the AADA National Dealer Convention, Mr Tynan was awarded a certificate of recognition by AADA Chairman Ian Field.
It was a special occasion not only for Mr Tynan, but his entire family, including his adult children and wife who were present on the night.
Determined and ambitious, Mr Tynan was instrumental in the formation of the new AADA and has shown much perseverance in helping bring it to life. Now heading into ‘retirement’, Mr Tynan still has plenty of plans ahead of him, including fulfilling his board position at the NRMA and Calvary Hospital.
On behalf of all AADA members, we’d like to wish Mr Tynan all the best as he continues on his extraordinary journey.
