The AADA Convention is the premier annual gathering of Australia’s retail automotive dealers, and convention numbers are approaching record levels.

The keynote speaker is Peter Welch, president of National Automobile Dealers Association, AADA’s American equivalent. Other high profile speakers include Robert H. Kurnick Jr, the head of the world’s second-largest dealer group.

National Dealer Councils and franchises will hold meetings and the AADA will reveal the results of the groundbreaking National Dealer Attitude Survey.

The theme of the convention is ‘Stronger Together’, with sessions designed to address how the industry can grow together through strengthening the relationship between OEMs and dealers.

Highlights include a panel session on ‘The Future of the Auto Industry’, moderated by convention host, Walkley Award-winning journalist Ian Leslie.

A host of celebrities will be on hand to entertain, with inspirational talks from Walter Mikac, who lost his entire family in the Port Arthur massacre, and hero pilot Captain Richard De Crespigny.
